Medicare Supplement
Original Medicare (Parts A & B) is a government-sponsored health insurance program. Part A helps pay for inpatient care in the hospital or a skilled nursing facility. Part B helps pay for outpatient care, such as doctor visits, preventive care, and more. Original Medicare does not include prescription drug coverage.
Original Medicare (Part A & Part B) won't cover all of your medical expenses. A Medicare Supplement plan and a prescription drug plan (Part D) from a private insurance company can help with some of the uncovered expenses.
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or
1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
The Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) includes the three months before your 65th birthday month, the month of your birthday, and the three months after your birthday month. Call or visit your local Social Securtiy Administration office to inquire about eligibility for Original Medicare.
